Project Summary

Green Acres Landscape & Construction was a project I worked on through The Computer Doctors. This company specializes in the design and construction of commerical landscaping, playgrounds, parks, and more.

When I was presented with this project, I was told that the company needed a site to promote their past and current projects, The site was meant to be a showcase of the great work they were doing to act as a selling tool for new clients and engagements.

For the design of this site, I was able to use some excellent photos of their work, including some great shots of the athletic fields that they specialize in building and maintaining. The colors used in the design were intentionally chosen as shades of gray, along with black and white, to allow the brilliant greens in the various project images to really stand out in contrast.

I was responsible for the initial design work on this project, as well as the build of the XHTML and CSS templates that were then turned into the final site. I also did the simple Flash piece on the home page.
