The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Archer

TÖMÖRBAATAR

I group my Mythic Legions display by alliances and factions based on my own person mythology for the characters. One of my favorite factions is my Barbarian Clan. As soon as I began creating Mythic Legions customs, I knew that I wanted to add heavily to my Barbarians. One of the character inspirations I came up with was a Mongolian-style warrior, which eventually became this custom. His name means "iron hero" in Mongolian (or so the Internet says).

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

This figure started with a Cador body. That gave me the bare chest, arms, and legs I needed for the Barbarian. I also liked the goldish armor on the Cador figure. That coloring acting as a nice contrast to the armor colors I already had on my Barbarian Builder Kit and Attlus figures.

The key piece of this custom is obviously the head, which is from a Masters of the Universe Classics Jitsu figure. That toy is actually a pretty expensive one on the secondary market, so putting together this custom was not cheap, but the end result was worth it! I painted the head slightly to better match it to the body's skin tone.

My archer's bow, quiver, and arrows are from ToyBiz Lord of the Rings figure and his sword is from a Spawn Samurai Wars Scorpion Assassin figure.
