The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Battlerager

Old Man Borpur

The collection of dwarves were easily my favorite grouping from Mythic Legions 1.0. As I began creating custom figures, I knew I wanted to add onto my dwarven ranks. One of the characters I came up with early on was a Battlerager inspired by the character of Thibbledorf Pwent from "The Legends of Drizzt" series of books.

Battleragers are supposed to be vicious fighters who use their own bodies, and the spike-covered armor they wear, as their weapons of choice. I imagined my Battlerager as an older dwarf whose tarnished suit of armor has seen many, many battles.

As soon as I saw the Mythic Legions Series 1.5 figure of Ilgar, I knew that I wanted to use this head for a dwarf custom. The tarnished paint job that was already on that helmet worked wonderfully well with the body of the Bog Goblin, so I combined the two to create my Battlerager. I also used the pauldron pieces from Illgar and the loin piece from a Bothar Shadowhorn.

Besides a simple swapping of parts, the only other change I made for this custom was with the helmet attachements. I wanted this character to have different attachments than the other dwarves in my display have, so I used a pair of small spikes from the battle axes that comes with Mythic Legions figures. Those spikes do not pop into the helmets naturally, so I used a small dab of glue on each to attach them.
