The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Githyanki

Fendfolli

One of the biggest influences on my work as a Mythic Legions customizer is my memories of a childhood spent playing Dungeons and Dragons, and my first exposure to D&D was when I saw a book called “Fiend Folio” at a KB Toys when I was about 10 years old. That book had a strange skeleton-warrior on the cover and I convinced my mom to buy it for me. I later learned that the creature on the cover was called a “Githyanki”, and that it was a strange denizen of the Astral Plan. That book opened the doors to the world of Dungeons and Dragons to me, a world which still greatly influences my art today.

Recipe

When I saw Dragon Forged Customs had done a 3D-print of a head that very much looked like a Githyanki, I knew I had to have it. Vincent was actually cool enough to send me one for free to use in a custom., the result of which you see here.

This is my Mythic Legions take on the race. I considering going very close to the Fiend Folio source and using skeleton limbs, but in the end I dug this look even more. I did paint the eyes red like the Fiend Folio cover, even though most descriptions say that Githyanki have black eyes.
