The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Monk

Master Groda

A new addition to my goblin ranks AND my custom monks in the Order of the Stone Lotus! This is my goblin monk, Master Groda.

As I started working on a goblin monk, I realized he was kinda looking like Yoda. Since I had wanted to create a Master for my order of monks, this worked perfectly and I went with it.

Recipe

The body on this is a goblin legion with some arms from Queen Urkza. I painted the body to give it more of a leathery look. The lower armor piece is from a Mortal Kombat figure that Dennis Derby sent me as a freebie. I was determined to find a way to use it, and it ended up being perfect here. The loin is a fodder piece I had from a Stan Winston Realm of the Claw figure.

The head is from Knubnik and I added some face paint. The feet are from a LOTR Beserker Uruk-hai that I painted to match the body color of the gob. The robe he wears is from an old Star Wars General Grievous. I liked the fact that I can display him with that robe on, or I can remove it and get a totally different look.

The staff is from an Articulated Icons figure.

The final pic here shows all of my custom Order of the Stone Lotus monks together.
