The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Goblin

Gunzo

I had wanted to make a goblin tinker for awhile, and as I was going though some toy boxes I found a bunch of Xevoz figures, including a Tomb Wraith which is where these wings came from. Those wings have a mechanical look to them, so I decided to use them in the design of my new gob and create a story where he decided to tinker and create a contraption so that gobs could fly!

You can also read this character's story on my Instragram page.

Recipe

The body on this is a goblin legion builder with lots of paint added to give it a worn, rusty look. The head is a Snagg. I removed his cap (which I used on my gnome tinker custom that I posted a week or so ago) and then I trimmed down the very top of his head and ears so I could pop the cap and google on him. Those pieces came from a Palisades Muppets Gonzo figure (hence the name of this character).

The wings are the Xevoz pieces I mentioned. I painted those as well to give the a rusty look and I attached them to the backpack piece you see here. That part is from a GI Joe Sigma 6 Gung-ho. That was also repainted and you can see a few pics here of what they look like when I started.

Finally, his control handles are a pair of lightsaber hilts from Kyle Ren with some tubes I found in my fodder bin glued to them.

This is definitely an example of one of my more complex and invoked customs, but I love how it adds a totally new look and class to my goblin ranks!
