The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Hunter

Hó’nehe

This is a custom that sat on my work bench for quite awhile, mainly because I could not find the head that I wanted to use. Then, after finishing the custom with a head from the Johnny Depp Tonto figure and not being satisfied with the results (because it was too obviously Johnny Depp), I went back to this design and worked on it some more! The head I eventually landed on was thanks to a custom I saw on a Mythic Legion's Facebook page. I loved the way this head, which is from a WWE Roman Reigns figure, looked with a Mythic Legion's body, and while I am sure it is recognizable if you are a wrestling fan, I am not, so it works perfectly for me!

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

This custom really began with his legs and feet (which are from a Warcraft Illidan Stormrage figure). As soon as I saw those parts, I knew that they would be ideal for a Native American-inspired warrior figure.

The torso comes from a Mythic Legions Asterionn (I had to use at least one ML part in the custom) and the arms are from a WWE Create a Superstar set (the barbarian set with HHH). In making this custom, I discovered that those WWE arms pop right into the ML torso, making for a perfect fit that retains all articulation. Since there are only a limited amount of ML arms available, this discovery really opened up a range of possibilties for my customs.

As I mentioned earlier, the head comes from a WWE Roman Reigns figure (the original version of this custom used a head from a Tonto figure from NECA's Lone Ranger line). The figure's belt piece comes from that Tonto figure.

The wolf cloak is a part that I have had in my fodder box for ages and had wanted to find a cool use for it. It comes from an older Warcraft figure.

For his weapons, the spear is from a Marvel Legends Kraven figure and the axe was part of the Odin build-a-figure.

To finish this all up, I painted the arms and feet to match the torso skin color and added some "war paint" to the figure's face.
