The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Marid

Dhuhashu

In my version of Mythoss, I have a kingdom that I call Hezar Afsana, which is basically inspired by Arabian Nights. Populated by djinn and other magical beings, I wanted to expand on these beings and create a Marid.

The design was inspired by a piece of artwork from the new D&D Monster Manual which shows this water-being having a very “fish like” appearance. I totally saw the Bog Goblin head in that design, so I decided to use that here! I did cut his normal ears off and replace them with some from a Marvel Legends Abomination figure head.

The body on this is one of the 1.0 “tunic” torsos with some legs from a Cavern Dwarf. The arms and lower skirt are from a Black Series Obi-Wan. I actually used the connector pieces from a WWE figure to make it so these arms plug into the ML torso and retain all movement. I also painted everything to match and look like they belonged together.

The top robe is from a Hobbit Radagast figure, his hands are from a MOTU figure, his staff is from 200x Mer-Man, and his sword is from a Spawn angel figure. His feet are customs fro Zombie13. I added some jewelry pieces to finish my Marid up and get me the look I wanted.
