The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Satyr

Zarius

Looking at an extra Asterionn figure I had along with a loose MOTU Prahvus head, I decided to add a Satyr to my collection. The Asterionn body is almost perfect as it is already, so all I needed to do to create this character was customize the head, add some new hands and fur, and give him some appropriate accessories! The end result is a cool new race that I get to add to my Mythic Legions display.

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

This figure started with a Mythic Legions Asterion figure. I did not have to do any work on that figure or his armor, it worked great for this custom as is.

For his head, I once again turned to the Masters of the Universe line, this time using a loose Prahvus head that I had in my fodder bin. I removed his chin hair and trimmed part of his horns. With a repaint of the head, I had the satyr look I was going for!

The fur pieces also came from the MOTU line, specifically from a Grizzlor figure. I trimmed those pieces to create his waist fur as well as some pieces that I placed under his pauldrons for shoulder/back fur.

Not wanting my Satyr to have heavy, armored hands, I dug into my fodder bin and ended up using some hands from a Marvel Legends Odin build-a-figure. I trimmed a tiny piece off the end of the peg on those hands and they actually plug unto the ML wrists perfectly! All articulation is retained and you can easily swap the hands on and off.  I painted them to match the figure's body to complete the look.

Finally, his accessories (bow, quiver, arrows, and sword) came from a Lords of the Rings Haradrim Archer figure.
