The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Skaven

Snialk Embertail

My latest custom is not technically a Mythic Legions figure, but it was created to display with my ML collection. This is my custom rat folk, the Skaven.

Recipe

I generally like to include at least 1 actual Mythic Legions part in any custom that I do, but in the case of my Skaven, those parts would not work since the rat folk race is so small. For this figure, I turned to Boss Fight's HACKS line.

I know that many collectors are big fans of the Boss Fight figures, but since I do not collect this 3 3/4" scale, they really never appealed to me. I actually got my first Boss Fight figure a few months ago when I used their Elven Archer to make a Pixie for my collection. I really liked how it scaled alongside ML figures, so when I saw that they had a "rodent" mini-kit, I decided to pick on up to make a Skaven.

The body on this is a Felonious Mage figure from Boss Fight. I added some paint to the green cloth to weather and age it a bit and I also added a little paint to his feet and hooded parts. I replaced the figure's hands, head, and neck with the parts from the rodent mini-kit, painting those as well to add some more detail. Finally, I purchased a cheap, plastic rat toy and glued the tail onto my Skaven to complete the custom.

All in all, this was a very easy figure to create, but I really like how it looks with the rest of my collection. You can see how he scales alongside my custom Warlock in the final shot!
