The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Skeleton

Tarsalas

This figure came together completely by accident. Working with a Bothar Shadowhorn figure, the beard accidently popped off that head, revealing to me that the helmet and the beard were two seperate pieces! Looking at the now-beardless helmet, I realized how cool it looked without the beard (not that it doesn't also look cool with that facial hair) and I began to wonder what other pieces I could uses with the helmet to make a new character. I had some extra bone pieces in my fodder bin from a Skapular figure whose torso I had used, so I decided to create Tarsalas, a nice addition to my skeletal army.

You can read about this character on my Instagram page.

Recipe

This figure is really a combination of pieces I had left over from other customs. It all started when I accidentally separated the beard from the helmet piece on a Bothar Shadowhorn head. I then cut up an extra Skapular head I had in my fodder bin to add the lower jaw of that skeleton to the top of this helmet. The attachment required just a little glue and I had myself a brand new figure head! It still retains the neck articulation point and pops onto a Mythic Legions body like any other head does.

The body itself uses bone pieces from that extra Skapular I had, along with random armor pieces I had in my leftovers. Needless to say, I was pretty happy to be able to come up with such a cool looking character just by using extra parts!
