The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Pirate

Skkul

This figure stated with this custom head from Kurt Daniels. I wasn’t sure how I wanted to use it initially, but I eventually decided to use it as part of a new series I am working on of pirate captains I call the Circle of 8.

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

For this character, I wanted to create a “barbarian pirate.” Starting with the custom Kurt Daniels head, I used a torso and upper legs from a barbarian builder set. The arms are from a Marvel Legends Thor Odinson. They actually plug right into this torso. Interestingly, these arms did not plug into other 1.0 torsos I had, but they fit snuggly into this one. I used some armor from a LOTR Uruk-hai over the torso to change his look a bit. His waist and loin piece is from a McFarlane Skullsplitter figure and the skirt piece of from a LOTR Ringwraith. I also used a number of pieces from a World of Warcraft Tuskaar. The spear, fish hook on his belt, and the two blade weapons on the back of his belt are all from that figure. His other two weapons, the mace and the sword, are from MyActionFigureCustoms.com.
