The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Dwarf

Thordaa Ironjaw

Recently, I saw someone on the Mythic Legions Cabal Facebook group post a female dwarf, and I got it in my head that I needed to do onetoo. As much as I loved the recipe that the 4H used for their upcoming female dwarf from the Soul Spiller line, I wanted to do something a little different. Specifically, I wanted to do a helmet-less instead of using the half-mask head from the Barbarian set. This turned out to be a bit of a challenge.

Recipe

I wanted Thordaa to have a broad, round face since she is a dwarf. Turns out that is not easy to find as a toy. Most female action figures are superheroes and such, and their faces are thinner and sharper than what I wanted for Thordaa. Amazingly, the head I ended up using was already in my collection...the Marvel Select Dagger figure. It had the right amount of roundness to the face, so with some paint on the hair and face and the addition of a ponytail from a Spawn Valkyrie, I had my female dwarf head! (Note, it was dremelled TJ fit the ML neck post)

The rest of the recipe is as follows - a Thistlethorn set of arms and legs, Iron Knight torso and faulds with paint added, a Faunus skirt, loin from a 1.0 dwarf trimmed to make it smaller, pauldrons from Spawn Viking Age figures, a belt from an Avian Warrior, a Spawn Valkyrie cape, and a repainted Cavern Dwarf axe. Whew...that’s a lot of parts, but I am super happy with the end result of my first female dwarf, Thordaa Ironjaw.
