This custom is part of a series I did that was influended by Disney Princess characters. I obvviously took some creative license with these characters to fit them into my version of Mythoss, and I also took inspiration from the Fables comic series, Once Upon a Time, and the original fairy tales where many of these characters first appears.

As soon as I saw the Hera Serpenspire figure, I knew I wanted to make her more of a “voodoo queen”, so when I began doing customs based on Disney Princesses, it was not much of a leap to decide to use this recipe to create a figure inspired by Tiana from the Princess and the Frog. I obviously took some creative liberties on this one, mainly combining the character of Tiana with the Shadow Man villain from the movie to create my Shadoo Princess.
The recipe on this one is a bit involved. The figure itself started, obviously, as Hera. I cut the gold rings off her head and glued on the skull and hair from a Queen Urkza. I also removed the snake attachment on the front of her head and replaced it with one from Lord Aydon. Finally, I added the skull face paint and also painted the blue lines on her body white.
The shoulder armor is from a Scaphoid. I added the little skulls to it with glue and painted the rest of her armor with some weathering to better match the pauldrons. Her necklace of skulls is from a NECA Predator, her cane is from a Game of Thrones Skullshirt figure, and her skirt and cape are from a LOTR Galadriel Enchanted figure. For the skirt and cape, I added the paint and weathering to achieve the look I wanted for this character.
