The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Zombie

Romero the Undying

This custom came together solely because I wanted to use this awesome custom head rom JimPansen Creations. This zombie fits in wonderfully with the skeletons in the Mythic Legions' line, adding a new look to the army of the undead!

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

Again, this custom started with the head from JimPansen Creations. With that in hand, I set about cobbling some pieces together from my fodder box to make a new character.

The bones used for the arms and legs came from a Scaphoid figure. I stripped most of the green paint away using acetone and then repainted the bones with a few shades of browns to match the look of the skull parts of the head. It helped that some of the green remained on the bones, especially in the joint areas, which also matched the colors on the head.

The armor parts came from Mythic Legions Unkann and Cador figures. Those parts were all repainted and weathered to achieve the undead look I was going for. The loin piece was taken from a 4" Hobbit figure or the Orc Rider. It was actually the orc's cape, but I trimmed it down to make it work as a tattered loin cloth piece.

The accessories on this figure (flail, lantern, and gravestone) all came from WWE Create a Superstar figures. They were all repainted to add some detail.
