Project Summary
This is a site that was done through my employment with Envision Technology Advisors. RT Engineering offers a range of engineering and custom automation services for a host of different industries. They came to Envision just as their company was growing via a merger with two other organizations that offered complementary services. To reflect this growth, and ensure that the brand of all three companies was consitent, RT Engineering asked us to redo their entire online presence.
RT wanted a clean, open design that would appeal to their largely male, engineer-centric audience. To meet those needs, I designed a very slick, somewhat minimal layout that had alot of room to breath.
The one item that was meant to somewhat contrast the minimal look of the site was the Flash on the homepage. I designed the initial concepts for this piece, but then turned the work over to another of Envision's designers who refined the initial concepts and animated the branding area in a dynamic way that adds a sense of energy to the overall presentation of the site.
