The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Goblin

Bowwie

This wonderful custom head came from Amaro Studios. He sculpted it based on the goblins from Labyrinth. I love the Mythic goblins, and I actually picture them being very mischievous and a bit silly like the Henson-created gobs from Labyrinth, so this head something I was excited to pick up!

Recipe

As mentioned, the head is from Amaro Studios. I got it unpainted, but it took paints so wonderfully (it is cast in resin, not a 3D print). It did not come with a neck port, so I actually attached it using a magnet that I recessing into the head and a screw that I drilled into the torso’s neck port.

To complete this burly goblin warrior, I used a Boarrior body that I swapped new feet into and I also painted the red armor highlights green. His top armor layer is from a LOTR Grishak figure and I made his hammer weapon using a Cavern Dwarf hammer with a few spikes from a Goblin Legion Builder. The back spike is simply inserted into the hole where the other hammer attachment goes and for the front spike I drilled a small hole and popped the spike in before painting the hammer.
