The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Ghost

Goryo

This custom is one of a group of characters I recently created using some Scaphoid figures, creating a little unit I call the "Ghosts of Caramoor"

You can read more about this character on my Instagram page.

Recipe

The figure itself is just a standard Scaphoid with no changes made to the base figure. I added a cape from a Marvel Select Doom figure. I had cut the hood off that cape to use in another custom, so I just placed this over the figure's head and added some holes in the back of the cape for the pauldrons to snap into. The front of the cape is really tight and it actually squeezes the neck armor, which gives the figure a different look and somewhat his the bottom of his face. That was something of a happy accident, but once I saw it, I loved how it looked! The hood is a piece I cut apart from a WWE Create a Superstar figure. It can be popped inside the neck armor to make this character look like he is wearing a hooded cape, or removed to achieve that look.

The hands are from Marvel Select Drax. I painted them to match the rest of the armor and trimmed the pegs a bit to get them to fit into the holes on the Mythic Legions lower arm armor. I loved how these expressive hands looked with this figure. The lack of expressive hands is actually one of the only complaints I have about Mythic Legions, because they really do add so much character to a figure!
