The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Prisoner 07435

The Man in the Iron Mask

This custom uses a head from MyActionFigureCustoms. It was listed as a “barbarian” went it went up for sale, but it totally reminded me of the Man in the Iron Mask from the classic story by Alexander Dumas. That is how I decided to use it, making a custom prisoner draped in chains and rags and wearing this heavy mask upon his head.

You can read this character's story on my Instagram page.

Recipe

Since this character is a prisoner, I wanted him to be slender, so I used some skeleton limbs and painted them to look like flesh stretched thin over bones. His torso is from an Unkann with some paint added to show wear and dirt. I liked the fact that it was orange, since that color was a fun nod to orange prison jumpsuits. His lower legs are from a goblin legion builder (yes, they do fit on these 1.0 legs with some heat), his loin is from a Marvel Legends Shuri, and his chains are from Hagnon (thanks to Dennis Derby for those chains!). His hands and feet are from a Warcraft Kobold miner figure. I modified them so they actually pop onto the pegs and still retain articulation on the figure! Finally, his tattered coat is from a WWE figure. I cut the bottom of it a bit and dirtied it up with paint to complete Prisoner 07435.

Fun spot of trivia – can you guess where his prisoner number came from?
