The Weeping Monk

This custom was made based on a character in the Netflix show created by Thomas Wheeler and Frank Miller - Cursed. I loved this show and upon finishing Season 1 immediately wanted to make a custom of this character from the series!

Recipe

This really is a pretty simple recipe, but sometimes simplicity is exactly what is called for and I think this works really well for the character. It uses a Star Wars Black Series Kylo Ren with a head from a Mythic Legions Elf Ranger. I repainted the hold black to match the robe and I also painted the Weeping Monk’s markings on the figure’s face. The Elf head actually has solid green eyes, so I also had to paint more realistic eyes on this head. It’s amazing how those eyes transform the look of this elf head! I finished the piece up with some swords and belts from Mythic Legions and a scabbard from a Lord of the Rings toy. I may tweak this a little more down the road, but for now I am pretty happy with my custom Weeping Monk!
