The Mythic Legions action figure customs of Jeremy Girard

Trapper

Maurice Jean Saint Trapierre

This custom, like a number of my others, uses a head from Jim Pansen Creations. These custom sculpted heads work so well with Mythic Legions, adding a whole range of new character possibilities to the line. This particular head is one he calls "Wolfgang". I had initially purchased it to make another barbarian for my clan, but after seeing a number of other people on the Mythic Legions fan groups use this head in that way by popping it onto a barbarian kit body, I decided I wanted to do something different. Taking my inspiration from the wolf skin he wears on his head, and realizing that I also had a wolf pelt cape in my fodder bin, I decided to make this character into an evil trapper, the sworn enemy of one of my previous characters, the Pathfinder.

Recipe

As I have already written this custom started with the custom head from Jim Pansen Creations. I decided to use an Adamonn body, partly to differentiate it from the other customs I was seeing that uses this head with a barbarian body, and partly because I really liked the "leather" look that the Adamonn armor is painted to look like. I added a pair of pauldrons from an Asterionn and painted them to match the rest of the armor. The loin piece and wolf skin on his head was also painted to match the rest of the "fur" on the figure.

What really helps carry this character are the array of accessories he carries, starting with the claws he wears on his hands and the wolf pelt on his back. The claws are from a WWE Rusev figure, I painted them to match the rest of the fur and they just clip onto the figures hands. I imagine them are extra weapons that are strapped onto his gauntlets. The wolf pelt came from a Legendary Heroes Conan figure. It just hands around his neck and down his back. That pelt and the head piece so not connect the way they should, leaving a sizable gap between them on the figure's back, but I filled that gap with accessories to minimize the separation effect and I like the end result.

This custom's axe comes from an Isengard Orc from Lord of the Rings. His bed roll, quiver, and bow all come from that same line. The bear trap that hangs along his back is from the WWE Rusev figure and the dead animals is from a Harry Potter Hagrid figure. Finally, his sword and knife and standard Mythic Legions' weapons.
